FC Main wiring harness

Replacing the main wiring harness on my 64 Greenbrier.

When we got the van up on the lift we realized that attaching the wire to the sending unit on the gas tank would be a challenge.

I dont remember any sort of access plate on the floor when i had the bench seats out.
It would make it easier if there was access from above.

Just looking for suggestions. Or maybe i will find a plate when i take the seats out again.

No plate from factory

Is the original wire still dangling? Put a terminal on that and it should work fine.

Have your 11 year old son, neighbor, or nephew (the one with skinny arms) hook it up. There is some access from the left side with the tire removed as I recall.

Yes. With some contortions I have connected the wire after installing the tank.
