Turn signal almost works perfectly, but not quite

My '65 Corsa is having a minor turn signal issue. The circuits are operational for all four corners. Front and back driver's side is perfect. The passenger side works correctly for the rear signal, but the indicator light in the dash and the front passenger turn signal only work if I manually push the turn signal lever up just slightly higher and hold it. What needs to be done to fix this so the switch works correctly on its own with normal operation?

Wagon Master, thanks for leading me to Matt's picture. Very helpful.

I dove into the issue tonight, took everything out and have addressed the turn signal issue. However, while taking the steering parts out I noted the angled split in the part below. Before reassembling I want to check:

Is this supposed to be split like this?
If not, what Clark's part number is this, I couldn't find it.

It's suppose to be split.

That is seriously encouraging. Thanks BorondaFarmRacing (great name smiling smiley)

I can get right back onto reassembly now.
