I considered driving down to look at that one.

The Corsa West people are right around the corner.

Going north to a Rampside today...I'll be watching.

Looks like a bit of a hodge podge. 65 seats, 66 door panels (with speakers), 65 non Monza instrument cluster. Looks like it is well worth looking at as far as a potentially rust free/low rust 50+ year old car. I would get ahold of Dave Statland who operates a mobile Corvair service in that area.
Mark Wright is not that far away also.

And you know these cars Marco (well proven fact). There you go, Dan. It does not get any easier than that. When we do a pre purchase inspection for a buyer, we usually find enough stuff that they can negotiate a better price (which also pays for our inspection which is $150= 1.5 hours).

just a question here. It has a 110 engine but I thought all Corsa's were 140 or 180 in 66. Is that wrong?

BobV66Vair,

U R correct,... only the standard 140, or optional 180 Turbo engines were in the 65 and 66 Corsas from the factory.

You are correct Bob. Of course this car is not a Corsa nor is it advertised as such.

Side question. Did some monza’s come with the silver on the rear tail light section?

Chevy being Chevy in the 60’s 😉 the build sheet on this might be interesting.

Build sheet would just show a Monza, the CORSA dash and paint changes are at the whims of various owners.

Yes, most likely that.
Is it out of the realm of possibility that someone walked into a dealership and wanted a 110 powered Corsa and GM
Built it but wouldn’t brand it a Corsa ?

Seriously doubt GM would build a Monza car with a CORSA dash.

But I don't doubt Chev. would have sold a Corsa instrument cluster over the counter and (maybe) the service department would install it.

From what I’ve seen and heard. You could order a Camaro or Chevelle just about any way you wanted. Odd that they wouldn’t do that for a Corvair.

No condition report but it is scheduled.

The current owner sent me a shot of the Body Tag.

Hopefully it is a solid car, I can get for a fair amount.

Another top up shot of this car from my files.

It was previously for sale in July of 2017.
