Only a 400 miles round trip.

Still doesn't know it's a deluxe.

Amazing what no vacuum leaks, proper timing, carb adjustment, and Corvair Nut love will do for an old engine...runs great.

Yup many times even less than that to get an engine running properly!

What engine does it have in it?

The stamp is T1202 YR but no turbo drain and a solid steal pulley.

Good/Bad news is it has a heater in it.

But lid wont come up to spot the axle code.

I'll put it up on the lift next Saturday.

What is the name of those oddball panel bolts?

Finally got PhilSide2 up on my rack.

HE 8 29 Differential 3.89 Ring & pinion.

3799364 08 3 Four Speed with 3/4" drain plug.

With those date codes the transaxle is original.

Pending approved information from SteveInMarietta.

More importantly I'm still not finding any bad rust.

Phil, in order to get the lid off covering the transaxle you must unbolt the heater box that is attached to the bottom of the lid, if you try and remove the lid with all the Clutch head bolts removed and do not unbolt the heater box it will break the fiberglass duct like the one on Philside one, if you remember I made a separate brace to hold the heater box in place so you can remove the lid easy, those heater box bolts are a @#$%& to get to.
