Hi,
I just can't find the appropriate post, so will ask here. I am restoring my Corvair 66' but need to redo the crinkle black on the dash and the 'chrome' look as well.....BUT.....trying to tape it off where the little windows are for the turn signals and wiper switch etc... looks daunting, maybe `someone has a suggestion??
I appreciate your help!!
thanks,
Rick

Pinstripe worked best for me. It can be trimmed with an exacto knife if needed. It also stays put when paint hits it and doesn't peel like tape can.

Hi! Thanks for the thread J.O.....I guess I have no patience, I'll try again!! Got the new wheels yesterday, tires tomorrow. 15x7 all corners. As soon as I figure out how to unlock the stoopid trunk, oops, not enough movement in the lock when I put it back `together...I'll be set!
Thanks for the info guys...it's appreciated!
