Well worth saving. I love the late 30s and 40s styling. Wish they were closer.

My family had a blue Plymouth just like that.
I can remember sliding down the trunk lid when I was about 5 or 6 years old.
I also remember lying on the short panel behind the rear seat, under the backglass.

well, it looks like the Corvair is missing its pedals, so maybe other stuff is gone too. The car with front end damage doesn't seem to have an engine.
The asking price might be ok, or ridiculously high.
I expect they will find a buyer, though.

It's a 61 Corvair, has the small brake pedal, and being PG it has no clutch pedal. Accelerator pedal and choke knob is there. I do see defroster hose hanging down.

That's a 37 Buick, black car not hit in front, not a Chrysler product.... seller can't read?

How could one even think about restoring that moss-infested '61 when you can't even sell one in good running condition for $3500.00?

Backward economics?

Moss Infested??eye popping smiley

A quick wash and it will be gone. What's the issue?confused smiley

I'm sorry every car out there is not a 100 point car, some of us like to drive them and not keep them in protective wrap 100% of the time.grinning smiley

And we need the cheaper cars to attract new comers. Not every young person with a family has 15 to 20K to spend on a hobby car. I interested a young fellow in a car that you wouldn't even think good enough for a parts car. He is very happy to be driving something from the 60s for such a small outlay of cash. Another Corvair owner is born!smileys with beer
