I needed extra leg room, so . . . . Hey, is this a backward control?

I saw that thing this summer.

He came to the Corvair Track Classic in Hastings- drove through the pits of the race, didn't stop, then left...

That is just WEIRD ! ! !
I know that some will say something about quality workmanship and such, but, . . . .WHY???
To each his own and all, but my own says that is just BUTT UGLY and Dumb!

Now if he had put the entire bed onto the front or something like that, well it would still be dumb, but at least it would look like you had something clever in mind with your project.

My vote for a name goes to "Butt Ugly", as posted by American Mel. tongue sticking out smiley Definitely an acquired taste. On one hand, my mind says - Ingenious. On the other, my mind screams - Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Can't say as I'd want to own it, let alone, drive it. Ugh!

My thought is that the engineering must all be in the frame and drivetrain.
I would like to see more design and style in the front. Like if he incorporated the FC stripe on the sides, another FC nose and did something like a center ridge with the hood.

Many times you can see the strong points of a person when you see their restored vehicles. More detail here and less there. With this one... to me it's obvious. For body... I think from the windshield forward he missed an opportunity!eye rolling smiley

I quite agree!
It could have actually came out half-way decent, but . . . .

Looks more like a Middle Control.

Or, it's still a FC but on this, the F.C. stands for Forward Coffin. grinning smiley
The nose looks like a Coffin.

Yeah, if you kept the rear engine you could use it as a Hearse!

The good news is that the frontal crash rating has gone from a -5 to a +5. Jim

The front is kind of plain compared to the back but it would be interesting to see the other side to know how they married the ramp with the pass door. Is it like the old GM wagons with the dual tailgate where you could swing it forward or drop the ramp? Would you have to have the window up or down when you dropped the ramp? Or did they just use a Loadside to save a lot of headache?

I usually like this sort of thing but this one needs styling in the front, agree, missed opportunity, took lots of talent though.

I am thinking they are going to do a remake of the series "The Munsters" and grandpa (Al Lewis) will be driving it.
