I was looking in Clark's catalog for the windlace and to my surprise, they don't make the "saddle" color for LM's.Nordo they show that the "B"pillar on the coupe needs any. What am I overlooking?I have red but need saddle color.anyone need red that has saddle?

Think you are expecting too much...

The catalog states that the reproduction windlace is for 62 - 64 EMs.

And, the non-original is something that will "work" on EMs.

Catalogs states to use the windlace on LMs as "a last resort"...

I buy generic windlace from an auto trim store. Actually for the Vair I used one that has built-in rubber seal for a double door seal. Most types I can buy by the meter, but this I had to buy from the supplier direct, and a whole roll.

I am aware of that Robert,my primary question is why none is shown or mentioned for the "B" pillar. There has to be something that goes there.

Sorry, I do not know (remember?) what a "B" pillar is.

There is a plastic molding for the "back" of the windshield door frame.

There is windlace on the pinch weld at the back of the door opening. Is this what you mean?

I was looking at 60's Chevelle parts looking for windlace. I found some for the door opening (I think). But, it looks different from the Corvair.

I was going to look at my Corvair. I was thinking that the door opening windlace and the top of the door / bottom of roof windlace was different.

The windlace on my sun backed Western LM was in surprisingly good shape. I removed and cleaned them. I changed my interior color and applied a commercial vinyl paint to recolor them.

Looks good.

The windlace on the bottom of the roof and back of the door are the same.

Looked in the GM Parts book:

For 1965, the windlace for the roof / door opening was listed in GRP 14.650 (not enough part numbers left in 1971 to figure out much).

For 1966 on, the windlace was supplied in 25 ft rolls (GRP 15.520)

Have no idea if texture changed - I think headliners did change.

There is separate windlace for top of the windshield and top of rear window. GRP 14.650) Think it is slightly different.

The windlace that I DO NOT have is on the door opening behind the seats, and like I said I was surprised that Clark's( they are usually so detailed) that it wasn't mentioned.I will call them tomorrow for clarification.

As I stated above, it is the same as the windlace that runs along the roof.

Clarks lists as 2 feet per front door
