Tires.

I need to put new tires on my project car. The ones that are on there now or pretty much shot and I want to keep them nicely aired up to roll back and forth in and out of my garage while I work on it. Right now I have 8 by 15 American Racing wheels on front and rear. The rears are 205/65/15 and the front are 205/60/15. Any suggestions on a size that I could use all the way around the car for autocross that I can rotate

Sure - Here you go: Tire rack 225/50-15 - fine on a 8" wide wheel 24" tall

I love the Falcon Azenis, have a 200 treadwear and work great for autocross, the max rim width is 7.5 so 8 is a little stretch, others will have to tell you if that's acceptable.

Been researching. Any thoughts on these for street and occasionally cross? 205/50-15 rs-r on 8x15 wheels. 4" back space
Tires are federal.

Those will work... but 215's will give you more.... 205's are great for the street.

Thanks, I wish they made them in 215, but only 205. Torn between these and the kuhmo up above. But worried about rubbing when I drop the front.

I have 205/50-15 on my Z-28 wheels - Bridgestone RE71R. They are 200 Treadwear, I think - very soft and sticky for AutoX, but good street tires, though will wear quickly.
Car is lowered at least 2 coils. I should probably count some day.
