Bob Brought Passes / Message from his Daughter 1/2/18
Posted by: gmgmtl ()
Date: December 31, 2017 07:05PM

It was announced yesterday via the chapters@corvair.org email forum that Bob had lost his battle with cancer. Bob was a member of CORSA SC and Heart of America Corvair Owners Association. Served as president of both twice.

Please keep Linda and the family in your hearts and prayers.

Thank you for the photo I am doing our newsletter now and wanted to have a in memory.

He was a great guy and one of many here I was honored to know. Just sad I couldn’t of met him sooner. I know he is in a better place now.

This is Bob's daughter Amy. Thank you all for your kind words and
prayers. My mom, my sister and I are all very touched by the outpouring of
love for my Dad.

There will be no funeral or services of any kind, in accordance with
Daddy's wishes. For those who may want to do something in his name,
donations may be made to any local veterans organization (local to you),
the First Presbyterian Church in Simpsonville, or Thornwell Children's
Home in Greenville, SC.

Our prayers are with the Greene family during this difficult time.

Warmly, Amy Tryban

It's always sad to lose someone that young. I remember him but didn't know him well, sad to see him gone.
