Good point Bill. It might be prudent to load it up with new, cheap, oil and then run the fuel pump by hand (well with a drill motor on a long driver) to circulate the oil before you drain it out. Motohead uses an old distributor shaft and that is a good idea. I might even get worried and do two flushes of oil. Keep flushing until you get no, or little, gas smell when you drain the oil. I assume, others will chime in, that damage is already done if the motor ran with the gas in it. Starting and running it will tell.
