Thanks for posting that. Too bad it’s not on the West Coast. (Rust and all) winking smiley

I am glad it is not on the west coast; I might be inclined to take a look and you know what happens at that point. It would all lead to me being thrown out of my house.

Definitely on my list. I like the idea of a ‘vert crown conversion. If it was here I’d be looking.

The owner of this car is a good friend, and I took it out for a spin last week. This thing has a crazy amount of torque. Much quicker off the line than my Crown car. First thing I would do if the car were mine...a roll cage to strengthen the body, like I said, this thing has a crazy amount of torque. At the price he's asking, I thought about buying it to swap the engine and Crown headers into my car and having a back-up transaxle.

That sure is tempting. I'd need to sell one of mine though to make room. Is it ok to own 2 verts?

Go for it. These V8's for this price don't come up that often.

I'd be buying that if it were closer to me for sure!

Curious, how well do you think that coolant system would work? If it works I like it much better that the front setup!

In MD, you shouldn't have an issue keeping it cool. I'm modifying mine to open the area under the bumper a little more. I have a Flexilite 3600 cfm electric fan and a 160* thermostat that worked fine when I was in Tidewater. You do have to work to purge all the air out of the system to prevent overheating.

I will be there next week.

Find a military person changing duty stations back in the states. usually they get a car shipped as household effects. Work out details. Should be economically feasible. And technically legal, too.
