I like that orange '65. I always wondered how that color would look on an LM.

Yup it has been named "the great pumpkin" haha Susan is the owner and doesn't appreciate the nickname too much! Ah it's a great time.

Congrats on the wedding. My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th this year. She is truly my better half. I like your 68. Nothing like a convertible with factory A/C. I am embarrassed to admit I have owned mine 35 years (and haven't had it on the road in over 30 of those years). You give me motivation.

Here is another shot. The scarebird bracket is really well made, my kit didn't come with bolts though, and had to modify the big top bolt. Not a big deal but I would think it would of came with bolts.

Cole - The issue on the top bolt is that there are two different thread sizes. The 65 was one size, the 66-up were different. I think that Scarebird decided to just have you trim off the top of the anchor bolt that was already there, and use the modified retainer to hold the top of the bracket in place. When I bought mine, I was stuck in the middle, so I made a pair of small bushings to get a tight fit with the smaller (65) bolts. Today I would just trim the old piece.

Yeah it wasnt a big deal, I figured it was just easier for them to say hey if you can lathe the hub down then you can trim a bolt haha.

Its a very well made plate so I have no complaints just giving people a heads up really.

Looking good. I like your carpet on the floor too; sure helps when getting down on those cold concrete floors.
