Every bit helps and the proceeds go to the CPF, which will use the money primarily to pay the rent for the new Corvair Museum in Decatur. Although CPF is affiliated with CORSA in several ways, its finances are separate and apart from CORSA, as required by IRS rules for 501(c)(3) organizations. That's what makes your donations to CPF tax-deductible.

By the way, the cost of renting the facility at Decatur is about 33 cents per square foot per month, which is really, really cheap considering that it also covers the folks who work at the front desk there.

My portion of the $137.82 is $19.66.

I copied and pasted the name of the charity into the Amazon link, and it came back with

I then entered "Corvair" and located the correct charity. Started to look at why it didn't find it the first time, and then I realized that the word "Preservation" is misspelled in the first post.

Also would like to point out that for the charity to get the donation, you have to start your amazon purchase at smile.amazon.com
