Oil Priming Tool SOLD!!

As the header says. This is a spare that I acquired and I only need one. The shaft may fit in a Regional box A so shipping will vary a little. $15 plus the ride.
I also have a picture of it in use!

I use just a bare shaft, well oiled at the bottom where it turns in the rear housing.

IMHO you don't need the upper bushing, the alignment is firm, there are no side forces, the rpm's are relatively low, and the process is short.

Uhhh Vern, You can sort of get away with what you are doing but IF you slip and put a side load on the shaft you can easily elongate the lower hole and even gouge the lower area with the shaft end. People use screwdrivers also! I've used everything mentioned and I have also ruined my share of rear housings.
