What don't you understand?

That he wants so much for it, or
that it doesn't include free shipping at that price?

I’ve see some impalas at car shows that the owners put every option they can find and don’t seem to have a budget.
Pretty cool to see, but glad I’m not paying for it😉

Not a bad price for a vintage GPS!hot smiley

Actually, when I visit the company office in Chicago, or travel to the mid-west.... I find it strange not being able to see a mountain r other landmark to tell what direction I am traveling. It's just so flat over there and I like my mountains! SO perhaps in the day that would be a nice hoakey accessory!eye rolling smiley

Cool piece, rare, never seen one. I would pay maybe $250 for it. $750+ is alot.

Back in the day, "Navigation System" meant a map and compass. All true "professionals" had one.

Raise your hand if you've ever driven in circles adjusting the compass' compensating magnets! grinning smileythumbs up

His starting bid and shipping price was fair. So,no.
That folks would actually pay this MUCH. Yes.

I have one on my dash from the 70's. It even has a green light in it. The radio speaker magnetic doesn't affect it either.

There are plenty of sellers out there listing stuff at ridiculously high prices just to see if someone has more money than sense. Ebay charges little to nothing to do that so why not? Sometimes you reel in a big one.

I sold a set of heavily sun rotted LM Corvair seats to some GM resto shop back east for over $600 a few years ago and he paid shipping on top of that. I very nearly set them out for heavy trash pickup only a month before because I was tired of tripping over them. The buyer was happy to pay and I was happy to sell.

From what I observe out on the roads today, some need to hone up on their driving skills. I doubt very much most would know how to navigate with a compass.
