2018 Bull Market List: The 9 hottest collectible cars right now

No Corvair made the list; didn't expect that; interesting from a collector car
market perspective though. Enjoy!

Strange and eclectic list. I guess the definition of collector car is subject to interpretation. The only one on there that interests me would be the K5 Blazer.

Other than the Toyota Supra; there's not one car on this list that I would invest my money in.

If I don't like the way it looks, the way it drives, it's not going in my garage/driveway.

Ditto Monza66mo and rnch comments. I have one "collector" vehicle at a time, it's
more than enough $$$ and time. I'm so far under water valuation wise on my '68
Coupe de 'Vair, I'm down with the whale feces. My motto is "if it ain't broke, fix
it anyway." Also have an overwhelming tendency to gold plate, or in the latest
instance, Cosmichrome.

I've noticed at various "Cars and Coffee" events it seems that 1/3 of the vehicles
are Japanese name plates, 1/3 Euro name plates and 1/3 American. That's fine by me,
good to see at least some Millennials interested in automotive things even if it
isn't of the American variety.

Enh.
Nothing there made my heart flutter.
The old jeeps are fun, but not anything that I would rush out and look for.
As others have stated, I have my hands full with what I have right now.

Love the 996 Turbo and the Supra Turbo. The Diablo is cool but unobtanium expensive. The M3 just doesn't get me excited. 996 Turbos are still pretty cheap, as far as Porsche turbos go that is.

Ford Raptor is on that list...really? **cough**

I thought that said it all.

Yes. My exact thought. As a millennial, I get annoyed when younger enthusiasts show up to events only to be poo-poo'ed by people who have been playing with car longer and/or have more disposable income. We should be encouraging those who are showing up no matter what.

I acknowledge I am preaching to the choir, though.

Check the Jay Leno column in the same magazine edition. Gave a great shoutout to Corvairs as one of the next collectibles to get into now. I like his analogy with Olds Toronados.

Haha. I am definitely an "enthusiast".
