Better be the correct silver, or it will subtract HP.

A casual examination of a Crookes Radiometer (which has black and argent paddles) yields the observation that the black paddles are actually the motive force.

I'm going to have my cove painted black and see what gains there are.

I know that some of you are going to ask, "What about nighttime?"

Headlights, man, headlights! When someone gets too close, voom!

Don't know how much horsepower an argent cove would add, but I know that both times I painted it on my cars, my boys wrecked the cars. Haven't painted one argent since...

Every 6 cylinder Corvair I have owned can out-run the same year 6 cylinder Falcon.

I think I'll paint my whole car Argent. That should really boost the HP. If it comes in cans or brush on, it will be cheap too! grinning smiley

Anybody recall the FIRST Chevy to use the Argent Silver Cove?

I believe the 66 Corsa was the LAST to use it.

Well, the 60 Impala had a silver cove, but it was not paint, an aluminum trim panel.

It skipped the 61 model, and returned for the 62-64 Impalas.
