Wondering if someone has a crown v8 conversion kit ready for a new home? Could not identify the DE stuff as Crown or Kelmark.

The CL stuff is for a FWD GM engine, was made from a S-10 2.2 automatic transmission bellhousing. Seller also has the 3800 supercharged engine that was in the car.

The gear box is definitely Crown style. I do not see anything else that is specifically Crown in the other pictures.
Also note the gear box does NOT have the Crown main shaft which would be solid.
It has the hollow original Corvair shaft.

The hollow shaft is not a problem if you are not going to drag race, do burnouts.
Install a BBC or Hemi , yes that might be a problem
For the record, the hollow shaft can be reinforced on the ends where the bearings are and the shear stress is highest with a properly sized piece of thick wall chrome moly tubing pressed into each end.
As I have done on several builds in the past.More for "insurance" than anything else.
The Ring and Pinion plus spiders gears are more of a limitation.

My point was that I do not see anything specifically made by Crown in those pictures. It looks like a lot of home made stuff.

So, If it works well, what is the issue ?
Why is having the exact Crown parts so important.
It is not like they have "collectibility"

I particularly like the option of a hydraulic throw out bearing.

I had a full NOS Crown kit including the 1 piece sub-frame collecting dust for years. Advertised it several times. Plenty of talkers and no buyers. I got rid of it last summer.
