I always used one on the bottom, one on top and side-shrouds as needed...

But now I've discovered Frying the Bird! Put your propane burner under the well in the frunk, pour in A few gallons of synthetic 5w-30, a dash of EOS and a dollop of salted butter. Close the lid, but check on it every hour or so. Don't lose the key!!

In the second photo, one can see the greasy "glaze" that came from laying the Turkey Roaster on top of the bird.

I hope that the Garage Chicken wasn't a witness to the turkey's execution!
