The cross-pieces were reproduced several years ago by Lon Anderson Here

You can get a reproduced pivot plate Here

I have previously documented (on this thread) my research as to the correct colors for this car. This dash pad color faithfully matches the color of the original pad for this car.

Bill,
Thank you for the links, I'll see if Lon has any more of the stronger cross-pieces. I have an NOS and repro pivot plates.

The windshield installation came off without a hitch. We used the Steele Rubber reproduction windshield gasket and the windshield is correctly date coded for the car.

It's been awhile since I posted to this forum. It's been a busy four months, as both of us have retired and we have been busy prepping to move from our Virginia Beach home these past 25 years to a new home in Maryland. I have managed to largely put the Glenn car back together, although a few things remain to be done, such as wheels and tires, charging the AC system, etc.

I a couple of days we will commence our move. Although the Glenn car is now operational, it will be transported via enclosed trailer to our new home.

I will catch you up with a series of photos along with some verbiage.

These first two photos show the replacement of the broken plastic part in the remote mirror

The correct temp/press wire for factory stock AC installation did not exist, so I made a mock-up and took measurements. I sent these to Cal Clark and he agreed to make me the correct wire.

Cal also made me the correct decal for the AC Condenser. These next several posts show me applying it and the Oil filter sticker

Front Carpet - this was a real PITA due to the AC evaporator hoses, etc. The assembly manual instructions are almost worthless! I ended up using the old carpet as a template.

In retrospect, I wish I'd paid extra to have the nail strips installed - many puncture wounds later...

We missed this strange triangular area when we painted the interior color of the car. I will use some extra vinyl to cover it.

In the meantime, the special temp/press wire arrived and I installed it - NOT an easy job to do once the engine is in the car, but I managed.
