Forward Control Grill Vent

I saw a video of a '64 Greenbrier that had a lever-controlled fresh air vent under the dash. The vent itself was behind the grill.

My '62 Rampside does not have this feature. Does anyone know when it was added to forward control vehicles?

And I have been told by someone in the know (Craig Nicol) that it is a lot of work or impossible to add it to an earlier vehicle. The body is different on the 64-65 FCs.

I looked into adding the 64+ front grill door to my Fathers 62 Rampside. I also came to the conclusion that is was not a practical or easy adaptation.
