WTB - FC horn - got one?

The Firebrier needs a horn. The one I have but makes no sound, even with the battery connected. Hoping for one in good to excellent condition, that will respond when called upon.

Steve. Does the Firebrier have one horn or two? Thy are much the same as the cars, but for the mounting bracket.
There is tip's here for disassembling and possibly repairing them.
I put duel tone Corvair horns in the Rampside.

Dave,
FCs had one low note horn (9000391), and from what I see in the P & A catalogs, it was not used in cars.

You might check out richard1 and his detailed horn fix/rebuild. Seemed pretty simple.

I have used this person in the past, and his work is impeccable. It is a little pricey, but it will come back looking and sounding like a new horn. If the horn can't be seen when installed, I believe that I have a NOS Delco replacement in the garage. I have lots of non working horn also, and have been hunting for a Cadillac trumpet horn for my 1969 Cadillac.

Kevin, I found the post by richard1 and will try disassembling the one I have; got nothing to lose.
Paul, Who is the person you refer to?

I have a (large) pile of horns at home. I have parted out a 61 Greenbrier Deluxe, and a 63 Rampside Deluxe...also, the one from my '61 Rampside is in there too...

Have a pic of what it looks like, or what bracket?

Have two with that model and bracket.
