Hey Dave Motorhead

Hey Dave,

First off I really appreciate your work on how to work on corvairs. I thought about just posting a message on one of your Youtube videos but wasn't sure if you would notice so I decided to approach you here... I wanted to ask you if you had any plans on re-gasketing a complete powerglide-diff-engine assembly and or if you planned on installing said unit back into the car. I know there are some do's and don't's when it comes to separating everything and when you put everything back together and installed back into the car, as well as making sure the shift lever is correctly adjusted in the transmission. Your videos make things just click some times and would love to see some videos touching on these. Thanks in advance

I look forward to your PG videos. I have overhauled several 4-spped manual transmissions but have not had to work on a PowerGlide before.

Thanks for all the help! BTW the 'block off plates' you sold me work great!

Be sure you read up on shims between the PG and Diff. Motohead Did a thread on it and "schooled " the forum. I owe him a couple of beers, maybe a case...

Judging from what is attached to the side of your red cabinet, you've been to HF a lot!

Just kidding. I look forward to your videos, too.
Just don't move your head too much... I get motion sickness.

I have three of those LED lights. They're just right for providing back-light to help see what's what or just about any job/situation. They're magnetic, have a hanger hook, are quite bright and are cheap at $3/ea.
