Anxious potential buyer!
Posted by: jpierce13 ()

Hello all
I have come across 2 1961 rampsides. The guy wants 1250 a piece. I have yet to see them in person but they look good in the pictures and this seems like a good price. They are not running and driving. Im looking for help from yall as to what to look for , is this a good price etc etc. I think these things are awesome lol. I will try to figure out how to upload some pictures as i know you cant say much without seeing it. Thanks!

Welcome to the CCF!! Tell us where YOU are... some may know the vehicles

Will be slow evenings due to the World Series...

1 Are the pics on your PC or phone?

if so;

Click on "Attach a File..."

Find the file.... make sure it is less than 500kb in File Size and 1024x768 pixels or smaller..

Pay attention to the MESSAGE you get after "submitting" GREEN is good!

RED is fail

I can not say, as I was not there when you made your post, but.
Did you use the proper method of "attaching"?
You can not just copy and paste.
You need to click on the BLUE words that say, . . . "Attach a file"
When you scroll over them, they will turn RED.
Once you click on that it will give you the opportunity to upload 3 pictures,
IF, they are not too big!

Remember these are Unibodies... no frames...

Most would dismantle both... refurb all parts you can..

Have both blasted to metal and then decide...

Also a blasted shell with title will sell easier, as people can see what they are getting into...

Honest opinion? I've seen his ad and those are pretty roached.
Not worth more than $1k for the pair. That's a generous offer.

Just know... Im not trying to poo-poo your excitement,(because it always is exciting). Im just being a realist. No title can be a Biggy and drops to price substantially. Check them out and decide for yourself what you're comfortable with. Just don't get too excited and end-up with buyer's remorse.
Good luck!thumbs up

When I was looking for a Rampside several months ago, I saw his ad on Craigslist, called him, but I didn’t get the impression he was representing thier true
condition accurately. When I asked about the titles, he said he didn’t have
them and it would be bill of sale only. To me those Rampsides aren’t worth the
effort.

If you want a good Rampside project, contact bobvair on this website.
