For Sale!! : NOS Carter carburetorS, Non Corvair

forsale

Way back on a shelf in the Man-Cave, I came across some of these Carter Up-Draft carburetors. They are NOS and been stored for decades.
These are used on 4 cyl tractors, small engines and stationary power units. The Carter tag #2438S is there. These have not been messed with. They are new.
There is a top cover casting number of 0653.
These were used on a variety of gas engines back in the day, Allis Chalmers, John Deere, New Holland... to name a few.

If you are interested, I have more than several, still in their box's. I'll let them go cheap, $30 each, plus shipping.

These are much like that Farmall tractor carburetor. These, as far as I can identify, are a general replacement's for engines like that. Back in the 1940's and 50's there was less importance given to specific replacement applications! Lot's of change overs.
I haven't been able to find an exact application to the carburetor number.
I did install a couple of these to Allis Chalmers stationary harvesters and one Farmall back in the 1970's.

I see there is one listed on Ebay. Not mine.
