Posted by: Freeman ()

I picked up a Powerglide to swap out with the one in my 4 door and I need to replace the TV lever and TV shaft. The one for this trams was sheared off at the case. This is for a 62 sedan. Please PM if you have a spare and how much you want for it.

Thanks!

Dave, it will be the one on the right.

The one on the left was for 67-9.

I think it was a design fault to put an O-ring groove in the shaft right where it breaks off. Should have the groove in the housing and use a bigger O-ring.

But I have never broken a TV shaft, whereas I have replaced many a throttle pivot bolt on the 66-69 manual transmissions....angry smiley
