My contribution to this thread. Sold the Corvair last year, but still like to express myself. Can you guess the meaning of the plate on the Frontier? The other is obvious.

Year of manufacture tag, but rubs on the Porsche guys a bit and honors an important date in American history.

I give up Dee. What does the 95682 tag on the Frontier mean?

It's my ZIPCODE. Very helpful when I'm getting gas. How about the plate on this yellow Vette? Or is it a Camaro? Don't know as I was only interested in the plate. I saw it from the front at first and thought it was a joke. Went around back and had to capture it.

URUGLY2 was the plate on my youngest sons 64 Corvair when he was in high school. More fitting for a Rampside from which we got the idea.
My Sears Rascal fiberglas dune buggy, which has Corvair suspension and drive train has the Iowa license VAIRCRZ...which is Corvair crazy.

The convertible is still "in-progress" so the Corvair is using the plates from it until I can find something appropriate.

Plate on the back of my Yenko (ish) racecar, car number 24, usually. That is also my phone number! Note the plate frame.
