Auto Transporter

Back three months ago, in March, I was given a name of a transporter, I'm not certain if it was on this site or not.

This husband and wife team, who reside in Oregon or Washington, will travel cross country at a reasonable rate.
They also travel to Fairbanks Alaska Auto Museum, but the museum doesn't open until 4 p.m. eastern time.

I cannot find the info, but need their info know.

If anyone recalls who these folks may be, I would be most appreciative. .... A not so common name for the company, as I recall.

Geez, getting old is really for the brave, as I'm rapidly discovering.

Does this mean you found a car and bought it? (Of course you'll have to tell us about it).

I recently used Passport with NO issues (unless price is an issue!grinning smiley)

I also called Jim,

And had a good talk with him. He was not in the area I needed at the time. He is on the AACA forum, Trulyvintage.

Is this what you remember?

No Frank, that is not the thread. *sigh*

I'll try to call the curator at the auto museum later this afternoon.

I tried to call yesterday, but no contact was made.

I don't like to mess up a deal before it is a deal.

The Pacific Northwest is far from Hendersonville, NC, about 2,800 miles to be precise.

This past March I spoke with a shipper at length, liked our conversation.

Then I misfiled their info, thus my question.

Before a deal is made, I tend to look at the entire picture, that's where I'm at now.

Have to say though, more nice Corvairs out in the Pacific Northwest than anywhere else I have looked.
