Very true Steve. A neighbor had a wrecked, dirty, Pinto in his driveway for years. I even offered to pay to have it towed away and he refused (and he had no intention of "fixing' it up - just a hoarder). A year later a house went up for sale next to his and in a week he got a notice from the city to get rid of the eyesore or get a fine. The realtor had filed a complaint! He complied.

If you want one of his particular cars CALL HIM. He is a CORSA member. His number is listed in a few Corsa Member Directories. He owns private property. You don't send someone on a wild goose chase as if these cars are just sitting on open land.

The house next door to the east (what I refer to as "Eva's house - not to be confused with anyone living) is but 50 feet from their house. Don't know if it's for sale, but Mike did try to buy it once before, after Eva died. But Cheryl refused to go along.

As to the cars, I do know that he has a '66 Corsa turbo coupe, red on red. As to convertibles, don't hold your breath. He has few convertibles. He does have a number of consecutively numbered pairs, and about 15 '69's.

Who cares if he's hoarder? Isn't it supposedly his property? (obviously not if someone can tell him what to do with it)
I would rather live next door to him than some new cookie cutter house. Why is one person's opinion any more valid than another?
BTW - he's been there 40 years and it isn't in a city.
If I want to buy 100 Corvairs with my money instead of one rare Corvette why is that a problem?

I had a similar thing happen to me. Commies made up a fake law to try to get me. I finally won after 3 years of fighting.
Praise God!

Hope it doesn't come to what has happened in Manistee Mi. where a code enforcement officer entered onto a private property about a old bus that was parked along side of the garage. The owner told code enforcement to leave, he didn't and shot and killed the property owner.

When I lived in Tacoma Washington I had a 1950 GMC pickup and then the economy tanked. The city sent their Code Enforcers up and down the alley's looking for violations. My truck got dinged and I had to sell it in 30 days or the city would tow it and charge me the towing fee. My neighbor's got nailed for a couple of hedge plants crossing onto my property and they also got warned.

Now if he had moved to Ohio instead of Indiana, he could have had Collector Vehicle tags on them, and they wouldn't be able to touch them. Expensive way to go, but it's going to get more expensive this way, I'm afraid.

Yes, but Ohio requires insurance when plated, and historical vehicle insurance requires enclosed, lockable storage for coverage.

Kind of a catch-22.
