I believe the SCTA-BNI Rule Book is written in a Foreign language and there is no know translation into English.

This is a fact...it took me five years to understand the rule book and it's ambiguities.

Hi Matt Dwight from beautiful sunny Phoenix AZ here.

Our cousin and her boyfriend came to the meet and she put that cool video together, ain't she somethin special?

Matt, you and Richard are absolutely correct about the classes, minimums, and engine sizes.
The SCTA, the sanctioning body at Bonneville and El Mirage, doesn't have an F/CPS class only C,D,E so they stuck us in E. Looks like we'll have to go to the salt if we want a record, that ElMo minimum is going to require some serious horsepressure.

Phil can see from the pic the only change we made from our 128mph run in May was a set of Seth's plug wires...Buy some ASAP!

Just kidding. This engine came with TFC when i bought it in 1980 and believe it to be original. I went thru it in 1995 and went with .030 over forged pistons, a TB30 cam and Clarks heavy valve springs.

As you see we took your advice, Matt, and installed a T3 turbo and Precision Turbo wastegate set at 18psi along with a 600CFM AFB. Have no idea on output as we were unable to get it on Jerry's dyno before the meet. On the run we were topped out by about 3/4 to the finish, about 5300 rpm.

Oh yea, the name TFC was my lovely bride's idea. a friend from Alaska was visiting and after noticing the Corvair buried under lawn and camping equipment he asked her "What's Dwight doing with his Corvair?" she answered "He needs to sell that f---ing Corvair or fix that f---ing Corvair!" So fix it we did.

Anyway, sorry about making a short story long but, really Matt, thanks for all the interest and support.
