I'm sure others will chime in but I say that is a great year and beautiful style. L.M. moredoors are the best. Imho
It's a 500 check for floorboard rust, rubber floor mat tends to hold in moisture.
If you buy it please post pictures, even if you decide not to buy it please post pictures . Good luck

Make sure the tires are not old, old despite excellent/good tread. Have fun.

Be very careful getting in - the plastic covers that fit over the center hinge/striker panel are likely very brittle. If they break away very sharp metal is exposed that can open you up like a cleaver!
First thing I did on mine was to remove those covers and then use a grinder to dull the deadly sharp edges.

I like Dan's idea.

Except for the two extra doors, all the same rust areas to check as any other Corvair.

Hope you get it, MercMamn. There seems to be a growing interest in 4 doors. I think people have begun to discover just how good they are.

Also, if you've read my articles in the recent Corsa Communiques, you'll discover just how unique '67's are. I feel they are the best of the best. I just know you'll love it!

I, myself am a Two Door person, but then again I do not have to accommodate anyone other than myself in any vehicle I drive most of the time.

My theory as to why the four door vehicles have gained popularity in recent years is "two fold".

Reason one would be that many folks interested in older cars have children. Often the children are encouraged to participate for any number of reasons.

Reason two would be that the price point for many of the more popular two door vehicles is out of reach for some folks while the four door versions are typically more affordable.

IF I were in the market for a four door for some reason, it would need to be a hard top version and not a sedan version.

I prefer the wide open look that the hardtop offers.

I only wish that the early Corvair's, especially the 2 door was a hardtop VS a post.

The only accessory code on the tag is 2M, anyone know what that is?
I'm guessing it is for radio, underdash and glove box lights or the powerglide

Looking forward to seeing the photos of your "new" car! It will take a bit of "getting used to" with the much smaller driver's door, but you'll manage, I'm sure!
They do get attention, no doubt!
