Sport Sedan Gets Motohead Treatment Progress Thread

Dawn start and back by 3pm all day turnaround...Rosamond to Paso Robles.

I only have the time, energy, and enthusiasm to work on one Corvair at a time.

Right now that must be the racecar and Dave likes it when I support his habit.

I'm sure he will find all kinds of fun stuff to post in this thread about my car.

I left him with a laundry list...and he thought it was going to be a quicky job.

Everybody cheer him on so he gets it all done and can start on the air conditioning.

I didn't point them out on purpose...you win John.

Had that plate in my head for twenty five years.

I've told numerous sedan owners to go get it.

But never owned a four door of my own.

BTW: This all started with a brake pedal that went to the floor.

Master cylinder full and no leaks anywhere...failed internally.

Conversion to period correct duel master cylinder is priority.

Just like bagman52's example pictures with Seth's plumbing.

Much like the spinning paint pictures we made in the 1st grade, when I first took the fan off I was like "HUH?" Then figured it out, 3 out of 4 ain't bad! smoking smiley

The 'art' angle makes me want to paint a spiral on the fan topside. Maybe sort of hypnotic--I hope.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I Think the someone greased the fan bearing to much and blew the bottom seal out and it made the artwork, the other leaks are from JB weld.
