With the help of junkman, I was able to determine my key code and the pins required to re-tumble my locks to match my ignition and trunk.

The only set of locks that I could find were a different key code, not sure where I put the originals. eye rolling smiley

So I matched the tumblers up and now have a functioning door lock. Had to make a new spring retainer (brass shim stock), it seems to be doing the job just fine. Just I am waiting on the outer beauty ring to do final reassembly.

I also could pass up posting this, this was 10+ years ago same pieces of trim and car..... The bar is not the best but from a distance it is ok, I've picked up a better one that should help top it off.

Todays update:

back some time ago I had a bunch of tail lights all that were the outer directional were basically toast. I found that the reverse ones were in good shape because of their location.

So I retrofitted them to turn/stop signal sockets. Aluminum "soldered" the openings closed in put in new sockets in the back.

I even powercoated the mounting brackets in a faux chromate for good measure.

Here they all mounted up along with repolished license plate surround.

Especially on the BU lights..

Pulled these out of the powder coating oven tonight. Still debating if I will color the center a different color.

You'll like them at less than 11lb. each... every 10 lb. saved equals 1hp!

Decided to do just the center area a darker flatter gray on the rims

Received rechromed bumpers and I painted the back side just for extra protection and I powder coated all the mounting brackets. Hopefully will get them mounted this week.

Tom your build efforts are great, a help too for others thinking of diving into a project of this scope. Lots of work and time involved but finished parts show the dedication.

Got the exhaust for the heater in along with the fuel line. Needed to get this done before installing the gas tank.

The heater that I had did not have the factory exhaust fitting, I had to fab up one and I put on a vband fitting to get a good seal.

I had to open the hole in the trunk a bit larger to get the v band in and made a custom pipe surround that is covered in a high temp "spark plug sock" to seal the underside from inside the trunk.

The entire exhaust is 304 stainless so hopefully I will not have to worry about it.
