FC Fit-Check for my new replacement fuse panel. 3 down, 1 to go!
Posted by: cnicol ()

This afternoon I worked on fitting my new fuse panel replacement to an FC harness.

Like the '60 and '66 car installs everything worked out well. The FC took more wire extensions than the others, but no biggie.

Below are the before and after on a '62 FC harness. All the FC harnesses are similar so they'll all look about the same when installed.

Here are the photos:
1) All done
2) Original panel

Next, I'm going to work on the '67-9 Fit-Check with the help of a CCF member who has a '67 to work with. Production panels are ordered and Dann is making production base plates this week. Woo Hoo! Getting closer by the day.

Thanks for your interest, Lee.

I manufacture fuse panels for custom cars and street rods (in addition to my lifelong Corvair hobby) and this is my latest product.

Currently it's in the prototype stage and I'm performing "Fit-Checks" on the four types of Corvairs I've designed it for. (60-64EM, FC, 65-66 LM and '67-9 LM)

I should have panels and installation kits ready for retail sale in about a month. When I have them ready, they will be available through our website, RacersRods.com or by email/phone.

Thanks again,

A suggestion for you Craig.

I'm sure you have thought about this.

Or you know of an application already out there

Develop a dedicated universal mid engine V8 Corvair harness.
