OT - New style radiator

A friend unboxed this radiator today, and there just seems to be something – well – wrong with it. I don't think it's going to fit.

Just so I'm clear – the camera did not create the parallelogram effect. In fact, it looks worse in person than it does in the picture.

I think it's more like a universal misfit.

Me thinks that the Slow Boat from China keel-hauled that there radideator!

Yikes.

I just replaced one on my 97 Explorer and it wasnt bent, but the lip on the filler cap area was much thinner than the factory unit, as was the rest of the plastic tank. Had to get a different style cap with a bigger gasket to seal properly.

Only got 20 years out of the factory fomoco radiator. Such junk-smiling smiley
