For Sale: 1969 NOS remote control left mirror #3957203

I have for sale a correct, new 1969 remote left mirror.
It is complete in the original box with all parts and instructions and mechanical drawings for install on Corvair and Camaro.
I looked at the part number and it was originally printed as #3957200. It was changed at some point to 03. Possibly superseded.
After due diligence which included speaking with some "1969" authorities
I am setting the price at $900.00 which will include shipping in the lower "48".
I will send detailed pics to any interested parties. Thanks, Rod

Wow ! Only $900 for the mirror ? And it's still for sale ?

I woukd have thought at least 60 or 70 people would have jumped all over this 😜.

Ok, let me explain something, we are talking Corvairs here, not Bugatti. I paid $900 for a correctly dated and correct model Rochester 4 barrel carb for my matching number 69 Corvette big block 427, and at that I had to give that some very serious thought. It's a $75,000+ car. You can buy an entire Corvair for $900.

Good luck.

That mirror if I am not mistaken is the same as the unit for the Camaro and Chevelle.

I suspect this item will sell. When it comes to certain items price makes no difference. Just ask any Bugatti owner.

How about if I lower the price to what was paid for a used 1965
remote mirror last week. New price is $700.00 including shipping.
I would also trade for a NOS late coupe left quarter panel shipped.
Or two late coupe door skins shipped. I am open to offers in that ballpark.

The 65 mirror is much sought after by Z16 Chevelle guys. I sold a used one last year for $904. Jerry

Yes the 64-early 66 remote mirrors are highly sought and pricey not just because of the Z16 guys. The regular Chevelle guys look for them as well about as much as the Corvair guys do.
The 69 mirror might not be as desirable to a Corvair guy but I can assure you that if you advertise it on the Team Camaro or Team Chevelle sites or even Ebay it would sell quickly as those guys love NOS factory options and many will pay.
Good luck with the sale smiling smiley
