ONLINE or Mail!! smiling bouncing smiley Corsa Voting for Directors ENDS MAY 1ST!
Posted by: vairmech ()
Date: March 04, 2017 10:01AM

Hey everyone, I know a lot of you here are Corsa members and for those of you not, I'm sorry. This is a blatant call for you to vote in the elections for directors. Granted there isn't much of a choice other than central division so those of you in the central division I am asking for your vote. If you are not a Corsa member yet you can join and vote! If any of you in the central division would say something at your local club meeting I would appreciate it. I won't go into a bio here as there is one in the Communique and my posts here should also speak volumes of who I am. Even if you don't like me please VOTE! The Communique also says that the online voting will begin on March 10th.

Thanks everyone.

In your Communique!

Dan Davis is the only one running for re-election.

He's done a great job!

There is only one real contest and that is in the central division.

There is only one person running for one spot in the eastern and one person running for the western spot.

Even though there is only one person running in those divisions please show them the support they deserve.

For those who have been complaining about the people running CORSA, now is your chance vote someone in that you want.

My candidate tells me I can only vote in my district so I can't vote for Ken. Correct?

Ken is a hard working individual and please vote for him. I have known him for over 30 years. I wish I could but I am in the Eastern Division.

OK, here is the process for voting on line.

First, you must log in. Then go to your "user tools" tab and hover over the link and a box will slide out. The fifth link down click on that and that will bring up the voting ballot. The you can look for the state or Province or Country you are from to know what division you vote in. Once you know what division scroll down and you will see boxes with the three divisions, click on the name of whom you wish to vote for then click the add button and that moves the name over to the other box. Then all you do is click on submit.

Please vote in your division just to show that you are interested in what is going on within the club. Please don't be complacent and vote even if you have to use a stamp and an envelope.

Thanks

I'd vote for Ken, but I'm in the Western District.

But I'm a candidate for Western Director re-election.

If you are out West please send a vote in my direction.
I'd appreciate it, pardner.

BTW Don't be shy about getting in touch with your directors. We are members volunteering here to serve CORSA membership in a representative way.
We would like to know what you would like to see for the future of our hobby.

Did my duty, read the short essay by each candidate and cast my ballot. Best news, did not have to use a stamp. just the electronic form. Really easy.

I must caution everyone that you can only vote for someone in YOUR district. If you vote for a western director and you live on the east coast that is a spoiled ballot! It will not count towards anything.

Earlier I posted exactly what you need to do to vote electronically.

Of course there is always the old fashioned paper ballot but you still can only vote for whomever is in your district.
