I just ordered two. Common fellas help Steve out so he does not have to fork out money from his own pocket.

UPDATE: Sorry for the delay in updating, but life's been a bit hectic.

I have been pestering the vendor for updates for a while now and I finally got a reply today that they are expecting to hear from the factory this evening and I will get an update tomorrow....

As I mentioned before, for those on time crunch, if necessary I will overnight the packages to get them to you on time

Updates to follow as I get them

UPDATE:

This is very frustrating to write...

I have spent the last two weeks trying to get the vendor to commit to a delivery date. As of last week they let me know that the issue is that their "primary" factory did not want to do a run that small with so many color variations. I replied I don;t give a crap what they want, you committed to the process. They contacted their "backup" factory and TODAY they finally got back and said yes, they would do it.

HOWEVER there is an issue that will be a BIG problem for several folks. the reply from the factory said

"I can have them ship out around July 10th"

This means that the folks who placed ordered for these to use as prizes for events this month will not have them in time.

IF YOU PLACED AND ORDER AND DO NOT WANT TO WAIT AND YOU WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND, pm ME AND i WILL REFUND YOUR MONEY IMMEDIATELY.

I explained to the vendor that enough folks may cancel that we could drop below the 100 unit minimum... The said "sorry"

This experience has lived up to the old adage "No good deed goes unpunished"....

Steve, while it stinks that they couldn't keep the commitment, your efforts are still appreciated. I'm still in for my order.

From a manufacturer's standpoint, I can understand the color issue. I was initially surprised that they would run that many variations in color and capacities, with such a small minimum of each. But I'm glad you held their feet to the fire and insisted they honor their original commitment.

The bottom line of this is that, I guess, if we want to have other colors/models, etc. we'll either need to be a large vendor (like Clark's) who could afford to commit to larger volumes of each color, etc. OR give up hope of any more being made.

That said, my hat's off to you, Steve! Fantastic job, just regret the final outcome (probably what gets made is it).
