Does anyone have any thoughts on dbl flaring stainless steel brake tube
spent the better part of this afternoon making,flaring, and installing 2 lines on my swing arms. Then getting them tight and not leaking took a few trys
using 3/16x.035 wall 304L seamless tube is there some thing that might make this easy or should i just keep trying.

Why flare?? I use "Swageloc" on my Speedskater street /racer...

Because a "double-lap " flare is the LEGAL way to attach brake-lines

Can you show me the statute? I've heard that over the years ...but found NOTHING in the Calif. Vehicle Code!

After the first flare use a small torch to heat the tube end up to red hot and let slow cool. This should anneal the work hardened area enough to get the reverse bend done. And you may want to anneal the reverse flare one time and reset it once for good measures.

Heating up the tube red hot holding it for about 10 sec at bright red then puting it in the hyd flaring tool it made a great dbl flare. small amout of discolor on the flare end.
should it be anneal it once more then should it be pickled for safety
found some great info on the internet. but it confused me more
