On the bottom- side of and centered near the back edge of the rear crossmember on my Rampside...just forward of the transmission end-plate exists a bracket with about a 6" long bolt and locking nut. It appears as though its purpose, if adjusted to contact the transmission end plate, may be to prevent forward movement of the drive line. It looks like something put there by the factory for a purpose, but will be darn if I know what.
Any of you more experienced guys have any idea what its purpose may be?
