I have a 65 RL turbo engine here. I have put carbs on it to see how it runs and surprisingly it runs very well! There was NO smoke, NO clatter or strange noises. I wanted to get a video of it running but the carbs were not that good and it wouldn't idle for me, they were just something I had sitting around. The turbo will not go with the engine, well maybe we can talk about that but this engine also has the diff and trans bolted to it. They go with the engine!!!!!! I have no idea of the condition of the trans and diff but it is NOT a posi. The engine needs to be cleaned out as it has a nest in there as you can see. What you see in the pictures is pretty much what you get without the carbs of course.

$1800 gets the package, local to me would be nice but shipping can be arranged by truck freight.

BTW, with the pressure gauge there and the engine running above idle there was 45 PSI showing on cold 10W-30 oil.

I have committed to Ken to purchase this engine. Transaction should complete in next couple weeks. Consider this engine sold. It will be used in my Corsa to get it on the road quicker.

Turbo engine and 66 Corsa it will be mounted in are in same lean-to, as of this afternoon. It was nice and also interesting meeting up with Ken, Rick and all the others that were there at the engine transfer. Four Vairs wete slso at this social occasion. A good time was had by all.
