1965 500 Coupe

Built the 1st week of April of 65 at willow run.
500 coupe. The only factory accessory is a rear antenna.
White with a red interior.
Now black with black and red interior.

The wheel does look great on there. I need to add that the wheel adapter I supplied to him for his 1968 column, is not one of my regular billet 60-66 Corvair adapters. It is for an early Camaro. My adapters have three additional holes on the face for the GM Horn button to directly bolt down. I guess they didn't have the same mount on the Camaro as they did on the Corvair, Chevelle and Corvette. This caused us some confusion during the install. I'm glad it all worked out okay.

Wow, it’s been a while since I have posted in this thread! My interior is about 90% complete. I spent this year distracted by another project car that I recently sold, so my focus is back on the Corvair. I’ll updymy progress with some pictures soon.

But for tonight, just a teaser...My Xmas gift to myself showed up at my door yesterday. Looking forward to getting some tunes for cruising. Stay tuned!
