() Date: February 28, 2005 07:00PM Hello Tim: For parts try: Patrick Motorsports www.patrickmotorsports.com Automobile Atlanta www.autoatlanta.com Brad Mayeur 914ltd@earthlink.net 914 club www.914club.com Forums include: www.shoptalkforum.com www.rennlist.com If you think the 914 4 is a tight engine bay, try a CORVAIR engine stuffed into one, or worse a 350ci sbc. They aren't that bad to work on but you need some practice in patience. Regards, Steve Re: non corvair Q, sorry Posted by:

() Date: February 28, 2005 10:58PM Hi Tim, I found some WONDERFUL trouble shooting information at the Peligan Parts site. I forget the exact site, but just do a google search for "Pelican tech tips" and it will pop up. Pelican Parts caters to Porsches and has over 10,000(!) web pages of tech tips and Porsche parts. It is an awesome site. -- Larry Re: non corvair Q, sorry Posted by:

() Date: March 01, 2005 09:14AM found pelican. it is great! a nifty little feature they have is something that would be nice here if possible, and that is that you are sent an e mail when someone posts to your new thread. then again, i'm lurking in here so much i don't know if i would really need that or not. tackling the project this weekend with the EI. 914 timing is the weirdest thing i think i have ever seen! tim Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum. |
