Thanks for all the nice comments.

I received the right air cleaner's top back from Rod with the mod for the PCV system like his. I need a couple o-rings and I can install the complete air cleaner and PCV systems.

So now it is time to get the steel lines I need to replace the rubber fuel lines and replumb the system properly.

The Greenbrier now has a shelter that will protect her better.

Received pump installation kit to work with my spare pump. Thanks, Bob!

Horn ring purchased and received. Has the wrong button for the Greenbrier. A button will be shipped to me by a CCF member. Thanks, John. Looks like the Greenbrier will be pulled out for some needed maintenance very soon.

Donna and I scrounged a recycle yard this morning. Came away with 4 Ford inertia (Impact) switches with connectors and several relays with bases and wire pigtails. Unfortunately, it is too late to start working on the van. It will be moved back into its enclosure until Monday.

Sounds like it's coming along nicely.thumbs up

The photo shows by the holes in the door that yours had the infamous factory round mirror. Do you still have it or the pair?

No factory mirrors with the van. I plan to put West Coast Jr mirrors on the Van. Mirrors are waiting installation. Extra holes will be sealed at that time.

We received a set of fawn arm rests for the van. I may not have the interior panels but I am finding items that will work without them. Looking to put a seat cover on the front seat to cover up the damage.

5. Engine harness and body harness has loose wires and poor splicing. - Ordered replacement harnesses from Vendor.
6. Missing Engine Body Seal and retainers - Seal material and .051 wire bought and received. Looking for retainers (sides and rear).

Donna and I stopped for the evening. Here's a couple photos to show wiring issues.

The distributor has a Pertronix II in it. I heard it didn't play well with PG engines.

Here is the current state of the engine. I need to get underneath to remove lower shrouds, so I can see results of head flashing removal.

I will pull top cover to clean and reseal it.

I will also pull oil cooler for cleaning and pressure check.

You know what's next...right?
Roll up the proverbial sleeves and do the whole 360° (spherical) treatment.
Everything down to the long block minus tubes/pushrods.

Oil coolers are difficult to clean. I recommend an ultrasound cleaner. If you don't have one, most auto machine shops do.

Like Perdigo said, get rid of the fuel hoses in the engine compartment. You can make your own if you use the more flexible copper-nickel tubing and a double flare tool.

You are doing it right, and it will reward you later.

Fuel hoses are in recycle bin. I have O'Reilly steel tubes on hand.

After I get the lower shrouds off, I will know if push rod tubes will be done. Any oil leaks and out they come. Any PO added silicone and out they will come.

I have an extra oil filler/alternator adapter gasket, so it will go on. Same with oil pan gasket.

Yes, I do have an ultrasonic cleaner I use for reloading. I hope it is large enough for the cooler.

Carbs nuts were loose and throttle crossover bracket screws were loose. The carbs may just a rebuild. It would not idle when chokes pulled off.

Raining here, so lower shroud removal is on hold. I really don't like laying in water and dirt making my own mud.

Back to the Monza right front brake installation.

The Pertronix 1 will work fine. Yours does look like a 2. The 2 does not like low idle speeds. My 1 has served me well for over 18 years with the PG, FC.

Your gonna have fun with the 64 Deluxe Greenbrier. Ive been enjoying mine, 64 Deluxe Brier, 110 PG for decades!
