And yet another late night sighting...

But wait... There's more in the same flick!

This is not a full corvair I Spy but Joe Rogan's Nova custom built by Pure Vision does contain a 66 Corsa dash.

Sorry did not see your post John. It's a great addition so thanks for posting it up!
I saw that program too, and am waiting for the next season to see if they give any more details. I was gratified to see that they thought so much of the dash because I've always thought it was one of the best. If not THE best instrument layouts from back then especially.
Was hoping they'd talk more about the details though. Maybe next time...

In the meantime, here's my latest. Taken from a late night "in-between movies" short entitled "One Got Fat" or something like that.
It was a public service announcement from the state of AR (I think?) showing how you should stay active or something like that.
Obviously once I saw the 'vairs I stopped watching the content and just took the pic.

Saw this on one of the most recent episodes. Can't remember where it was, but may have been Monterey.

Hmm, such a popular movie I wonder if a pic has been posted already? Watched the movie recently and would hate to think I missed it!

Thanks
Now I'm going to have to hunt a little bit.

Found this from 2017. Interview with the 63's Owner starts at 3:57 minutes in.
Some other Corvairs shown also before the interview.

Just not sure how to describe this movie, other than to say it's truly a target-rich environment for Corvair spotting. No less than 8 different scenes with various 'Vairs. And one introduction to the music group Spirit who the director was a fan of and had just released their first album (movie was listed as '69).

And at least one spotting of a Bullitt Mustang too!
Odd, because this movie was filmed slightly later than Bullitt , so I suppose there were other cars set up the same way as the one in the movie.
At no point could you see the license plate, which would have been interesting.

I won't bother with all 8 independent shots this time.grinning smiley

Two different episodes from the '62 season. Probably going to be a lot of 'Vair sightings in this series...

It's almost too easy with this show. Of course, regular episodes from back when the Corvair was new and still being sold is kind of cheating. But it's fun to see all of them anyway.
In this case, the guys were watching as something like 23 women came out of the van! They just kept coming in one of those Keystone Cops scenes where the rear was just out of sight and they just kept on magically appearing at the middle doors.
Fun stuff.

Mom and dad on a Corvair trip maybe to Lake Tahoe perhaps? Could be just about anywhere. Maybe someone recognizes the motel, but I just spied the 4-door in the background with what looks to be a roof rack on top. Perhaps it was the motel shuttle.

Might not be able to see it. I can't upload the image at full resolution (1.4m) but at 40% it's so small I can hardly make out the car from here.
But here goes...

Thanks Matt. When I come across the slide again I'll scan it at a higher resolution.
Still comes out pretty clear though, for as much as you enlarged it.

Looked like a nice car!
