From "The Brass Bottle" that Corvair Haven mentioned a few days ago.

Apparently Sheldon Leonard saw it at the theater and used it as his inspiration for "I Dream of Jeannie" the following year (or so) after.
Must've had a thing for Barbara Eden 'ya think?

I know I did!

From Detroit Muscle (part of the Power Block on Paramount network) today. Taken at their parking lot GM show.

Good one. I bet I saw that episode when it was first aired back in the day and saw the Corvair, never thinking it would play a fun role 50 years in the future like this!
I don't think I have any channels playing it right now, but will keep an eye open anyway.

Thanks

From some more episodes of Hawaii 5-0 from '74.
An Early and a Late in the same episode. And my favorite moment was when the guy gets into a big GM car (darn, can't remember the model now) and then puts the key in what looks suspiciously like an EM dash!
Guessing they used the same layout for some other vehicles (a van maybe?) but were there instrument panels this close?

Discovery Channel show called Trans Am I think. Little segment talking about the big Muscle Car craze of the sixties and showing this car as an example.
Nice..

The “Chevy Van” that replaced the Corvair 95 used the early model instrument clusters.

Thanks Frank. And I should have remembered that little tidbit, as I've seen them in real life before (a long time ago though) and remember noting it to myself.

Now I'll have to remember if the guy was getting into a van, which they do use frequently in that show, or a big car like I'm remembering.
Dang, now I've got something else in the useless-info and even less important department to track down.

From the main intro sequence of that same "Trans Am" show.

And... A very target-rich environment in an old Bob Hope movie from '67. Saw almost every sixties car imaginable in this one! Even a 2-door Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville beauty.
And unusually, a Yellow '65 Corsa Convertible with silver top?
Pretty cool.

Actually, looking at the pics it just seems a faded white top. But while viewing the screen, it sure looked silver.
That's not snow either, as this was taking place in CA and AZ and looked to be filmed in L.A.
That's Bob (or his stunt double) falling from behind the van. As he's about to stumble on to the money clip with 10K in 1000-dollar bills, that somehow does not show up until after he falls.
Continuity experts rule!
