Good to know. So I can just confirm top/bottom with a measurement.

Someone was a very bad boy, last night. Came home with a black eye and busted teeth.
55 years old and hasn't learned a goddamned thing.

The bumper wasn't actually cut. Someone took the left/front bumper mount. At which point, someone else pulled that side of the bumper and creased it. I finalized the bumpers life by folding it into a taco, back and forth, until it gave.

It was refreshing to unload on that bumper section.

I see you also have that extremely rare windshield gasket vent hole on the bottom of the windshield. Few people know that it performed at least two functions. One was as a rain indicator. The other is it would whistle different tunes, de[ending on the speed you were driving and wind direction.
I heard Jay Leno may be looking for one on these rare accessories! I had one on my Greenbrier, but I removed it and wound up misplacing it somewhere.

No, it is back on in the later picture.
He means, that when he took them off for paint stripping, that the van looks like it has a "Black-eye"(no headlight trim), and missing front "teeth"(no grill). eye popping smiley

Rebuilt FC axles came in. No "Green" bearing junk. Something I probably should have done on the Loadside last year, but forgot. One of them have the outer shield not shown in the '62 manual.

Nice build and restoration, I also like the choice of color. It's a good reference that I can use.

Welcome to CCF,rubenjay.
If by 'color' I'm assuming GM's decision on all '62 FC upholstery.
