We had to pick up a shower unit for our new bathroom and it just wouldn't fit in my 1974 Econoline van so we used the rampside. My son rode in the bed to stabilize this huge box and I just drove slow on back roads. It worked! Even show trucks can be used.

The wife brought a patio table, chairs and umbrella. It couldn't fit in her Subaru. Greenbrier to the rescue!

Here we have the Whale, Corvair UltraVan 460, hauling me and my percussion gear to a Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra gig, and one of the Whale guiding the good people of Bunkerville, NV, to the polling place at the last election. The Whale has been a fixture at every election since 2008.

Lunch with the boys.

A couple of times a week several of us "car guys" get together for a quick lunch at Wendy's or Burger King and chat about, what else, the weather. A fun time is had by all but the Corvair definitely rules!

The 61st Annual Antique and Classic Car Parade was yesterday in Hamilton / Fairfield, Ohio. The show & parade is one of the longest consecutive running in the country. Entry is limited to vehicles that are at least 25 years old and are original or restored/original cars. It was a fabulous weather for the parade and there were nearly 300 cars of all makes and models that participated. There were six corvair's present this year, all from the Cincinnati Corvair Club. Here are some pictures.

Today I went to smallest car show at small city Van Dyne, WI with my 1967 factory air Corvair coupe. My fellow club member drove his 1961 Corvair sedan, too. There ae about 50 old cars on display, but we had a good time.
