Me, I just cruise around to where ever I'm going...

Today a friend waved me down and after she left I remembered to snap a few shots...

This is "Hollering Point" where Families would greet their Fathers as the ships returned....and yes it was sprinkling as it should here on the Coast..

I had the car out on Christmas Day making the family rounds. Caught some Xmas lights on the way home. Interesting how amber streetlights make the car look gold/bronze.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Have not been driving the Vairs much for winter. I drove my '65 convert today to work though. Still assembling trim on it.

here is mine. A close to original 64 Monza. approx. 64k. Sat in a warehouse for old car collector for 35 or so years. Hardly any rust, paint not too good had it buffed, actually put in battery and oil and started it and drove home about 40 miles. still working on it.

I'm using my Monza and Greenbrier to hold some of my snow.

Drove the 62 up to Dayton Ohio this morning to help Caveman Pete load up a 63.

Car had not been moved in 10 years. Pete's a great guy! Traded a pizza for two door latches. Thanks Pete. smileys with beer

We towed the V8 Corvair around southern Arizona at the end of last week visiting Bisbee and Sierra Vista. Stayed with relatives in the area Friday night and then headed to Tucson early Saturday morning.

We unloaded the V8 once we were in Tucson and drive it to the Franklin Auto Museum to hang out with members of both the Tucson Corvair Association and Cactus Corvairs. We had a nice guided tour of the facility and then a great cookout at the home of the caretakers onsite. I'll post up a review and photos of the meet in a separate thread.

Pic shows sunrise at the relatives house. Famous Ramsey Canyon is near here and just over the Huachuca Mountains is Mexico.
